Pittsburgh Local Section CCEW Poetry Contest Winner Takes National Award
As part of Chemists Celebrate Earth Week (CCEW) 2021, which took place April 18-24, students from grades K-12 were invited to share their
interpretation of this year’s theme, “Reducing Our Footprint with Chemistry,” in the form of illustrated poems.
Over 600 students participated in 29 local sections and 58 local winners advanced to the national contest.
